A: The growing demand for exotic hardwood is pushing a trend toward species from around the globe. Builders, designers, architects and home owners are anxious to allow the floor to make a statement. Exotic hardwood flooring is the next big trend.

Q: Is your floor quality as good as the major brands of flooring?
A: We are proud and excited to compare our quality with others. Using the Janka scale, almost all of our woods are harder than the North American Oak which is considered the standard. We have an inspector that inspects the manufacturer and the process from milling to finish. Presently our manufacturing is being done in Vietnam and in our opinion has higher standards than most other parts of Asia including China. Because of these high standards the installers are telling us they are having less than 2% scrap compared to the accepted 8-10% rate of other brands.

Q: Once I order the flooring how long should I expect for delivery?
A: All in stock ordrs will be shipped within 3 to 4 business days. If an order is placed with the manufacturer, it could be 8 to 10 weeks.

Q: Is your wood sustainable and legally harvested?
A: The mills we buy from are SGS & FSC certified.

Q: Can we have floor radient heat with your hardwood floors?
A: Yes, wood is an excellent heated floor. Make sure the heating system you use is"certified safe" for combustible wood and laminate floors. Electrical Testing Laboratories have developed such a system.
